What we remember most about Cersaie is not only the tiles we saw or presented, but the people.
The people who stop in front of a tile, touch it, ask how it was made and start imagining where they would use it: in a kitchen, a bathroom, an interior design project or in that space that still feels like it is missing something.
From 21 to 25 September, we were once again at Cersaie 2026, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings in Bologna, one of the leading meeting points for manufacturers, architects, interior designers, distributors and design professionals.

We presented new products and put them in the hands of those who know the material
At Cersaie 2026, we presented several new products, and seeing how people reacted when they had them right in front of them was one of the most interesting parts of the show.
Some touched the surfaces, compared finishes, placed different pieces side by side and asked about their manufacturing process, their possibilities and how they could work within a project. Because a ceramic tile is understood very differently once it stops being just an image in a catalogue.
When you can see it up close, touch its surface, observe how it changes with the light, appreciate its texture and start imagining how it might look in a real space.
The questions that come up at a trade fair tell us a great deal. They help us understand what people are looking for today, which finishes attract the most interest, which formats fit new projects and what questions arise when it is time to choose a ceramic wall or floor covering.
Cersaie is a place to show, but also to listen. And we return from Bologna with ideas, conversations and points of view that we did not have before we arrived.
We also came away with the feeling that we had done more than simply present products: we had put a face to the brand once again.
After more than 65 years manufacturing ceramic tiles, we still believe that some things are understood much better face to face than through a screen or a catalogue. For example, how a tile is made or why a particular finish behaves in a certain way.
We try to make sure that everyone who visits our stand takes away a little of the way we understand ceramics. And that we take away a little of theirs.
The team behind Cersaie, even if they are not always in the photos
A stand begins long before the exhibition opens.
Behind it are weeks of work, decisions, samples, boxes, installation, last-minute changes and many people making sure everything fits together. They are the people who build the space, solve an unexpected problem when everything seems to be finished, or continue welcoming every visitor with a smile after many hours at the fair.
To the entire La Platera team who made Cersaie 2026 possible: thank you.
And thank you as well to everyone who came to visit our stand. Those of you who arrived with a specific idea in mind, and those who stepped inside “just to have a look”. In the end, it is these conversations that truly make a trade fair worthwhile.
